I believe this helmet is brand new and has never been used.  It is not sealed in the box, is why I am not positive, but there are no signs of wear or of having been used before.  See pictures  The box is a little scuffed up from being in storage, but the helmet has no signs of wear or use.  I did adjust the price a bit since the box is not in perfect condition, and I can't be 100% that it hasn't been tried, even tho I see no signs of it.
